![]() ![]() Establishing a good network of guild cities is I suspect going to be critical from the mid-late game on, not only because you can quickly and easily compare prices, but because investing in ports allow you to, among other things, expand how many goods they sell and improve the quality of ships they can build. However, it allows you to begin investing in ports to improve them, to send trade fleets out to other ports to automatically collect goods while you're out and about, and perhaps most critically, it'll allow you to always see up to date prices on the map screen if you click on the port. This isn't cheap - you'll need 50k upfront, plus a number of certain goods that can be found in the area. Since they're so pricey to set up, though, and since they require grinding contribution to get going in the first place, picking which cities to turn into guilds is going to be important - aim for major hub cities you intend to visit again and again for whatever reason. ![]() To answer the specific question: At some point if you go far enough in the story missions, you'll get the ability to establish a "guild" in cities where your contribution is high enough. ![]()
